SINCERELY YOURS started its life as a super 8mm film for a festival in Los Angeles called ATTACK OF THE 50 FOOT REELS. It played at the Egyptian Theatre and went over really well - despite the fact that most of it was out of focus. So then I called my friend AARON WISE over, and we shot it again on 16mm, right in my own apartment. I ended up voicing P.T. BECKENMEYER, and JAMES KING wrote the infectious, perfectly sleazy score. I like the fact that in essence, it’s a silent film, that is you don’t see anyone speaking. I hope to explore much more of this kind of goofiness this year.
